Dvorsky Chiropractic in Beverly Hills treats the cause of your pain, not just the symptom!

New Patients

You're in great hands.

First Visit

On your first visit to Dvorsky Chiropractic, you can expect to spend a full hour of face to face time with Dr. Jay.

He will take a complete history of your complaint, and his questions will get you thinking. What exactly is your primary symptom, and what other subtle sensations may be a part of it? How did your problem present itself – when did it start and what has happened between then and today? This important first visit is all about finding the actual cause of your complaint and getting to the root of it. Dr. Jay will explain in ways that make complete sense to you how the body communicates with the brain through spinal nerves, and how spinal misalignment can affect this communication and cause problems in the body.

When the history portion of your visit is complete, you will move onto the exam phase. This consists of biomechanical testing (your movement) and neurological testing (your nerves). Dr. Jay may determine, for example, that your hip complaint is really an ankle problem that has manifested in a rotated hip. By the end of this initial consultation, history, and exam, Dr. Jay will have a clear understanding of what the problem is, its root cause, and what will be done about it.

For a shorter time in the waiting room, please fill out the New Patient Form and email it to us before your visit.

Second Visit

There will be a complete systems review of the “who, what, and why” of your seeking Dr. Jay’s help. He will now lay out a plan of treatment which will, most likely, include homework. Yes, homework, things like specific exercises to help get you and keep you in alignment. You may also be asked to take Epsom salt baths to relax and balance your muscles. If you have a workout routine, he will review what you do and may modify it or substitute different movements to help get you on track to recovery.

Third Visit
